In this sculpture, a single letter is sectioned off to create a message that functions as a sign through looped animated sequencing. As the individual chambers in the box light up i, o, u playfully calls to the viewer. This work addresses the viewer by asking—in the production, presentation and reception of artwork, who owes who?
