wood, duratran, florescent light, neon, power supply, metal
In this series of lightboxes, which are in essence colour studies where the natural world is brought into a comparative relationship with the commerical world. By contrasting the limited possiblities of the neon colour chart with the endless colour variation in the natural world questions arise. Can the neon colour scale be as satisfying as the depth of variation in the natural world? Can it be as emotive or as representative and can it evoke an experience? What is "natural" colour?
