top dog is a kinetic sculpture rendered in neon text mounted one above the other on a rotating disk. As the disk rotates back and forth the elements attempt to assume the dominant position. The sculpture alludes to the politics of corporate power but also references the art world. Ironically the sculpture can never complete itself as one part or the other is in a constant state of compromise.
